I’m Marla

teach and inspire health practitioners valuable information you can apply in your daily practice. My Pro courses focus on Gut Health and Digestion (IBS, SIBO and IMO + Lab testing) and Women’s Hormone Health (Balancing Women’s Hormones + Lab Testing), providing current research, easy to understand PowerPoint slides and hand-outs that save you time researching for protocols and diets. All the information provided is supported by scientific evidence.

Courses for Health Professionals & Students

With every course, I share what nutrient-dense foods, revitalizing herbs, supportive supplements, holistic lifestyle rituals, energizing body movements, ancestral medicine + all things energy related, that support digestion and hormone health.

Each course helps you, as the practitioner understand possible root causes so you can personalize each treatment plan and help your client recover in less time.

Marla’s Story

Hi everyone. I was on a health journey, possibly similar to where you are now, many years ago with Epstein Barr virus, IBS, and undiagnosed SIBO, Hashimoto’s disease, anxiety, depression, and “adrenal fatigue” ( a.k.a. burn-out!) . This went along with pervading thoughts of, “I’m not good enough”, “I need to be perfect”, “The ‘Yes’ girl”, and “Why can’t Dr.’s help me?.”

The journey was frustrating and long, but it got better…I turned my health around after 9 years of seeking help. I finally found gifted holistic health mentors and was inspired to go back to school so I could find more answers and take care of myself. And I did!

Now, after decades of formal education and absorbing so much from books, studies, podcasts, conferences, and wise healers’ stories, I have created organized, step by step health programs, that I call “nourishing toolkits.” Many of these tools being offered are life skills that change how clients live, think, eat, and view their relationship with food and their world, bringing awareness of their true purpose and vital importance. Marla has made herself very available to her students throughout the SIBO Course. She is incredibly passionate about extending her knowledge to empower us. I loved that her classes often went over time because they were so jam packed with juicy information. As a professional, if I had to leave, I could revisit the videos on my own time, later. Marla is an incredibly knowledgeable “Gut Doctor”.

Everything has been so informative and I’m loving the course. Can’t wait till the next lesson and Q&A!
Hey, I just wanted to check In and tell you I just finished the last lesson and I loved the course !
It has helped me so much with my IBS and I look forward to helping others in the future as a NNCP. I really enjoyed the structure, at your own pace option, all the handouts and files, how easily things were able to be accessed. Honestly, the layout was amazing (better then some university level courses I have been working on LOL) I will definitely be recommending your course to some friends I have that are also nutritionists.

Engaging, resourceful and creative all come to mind when I think of Marla. I had the opportunity to attend one of her culinary workshops and also worked with Marla for close to a year. Marla approaches her work with enthusiasm, and her friendly disposition is a welcome bonus to any of her collaborators and work mates
